The Activpen writes just like a pen and acts like a mouse. You can drag and drop elements, highlight or open tools—pages, dvds, sounds and more. Click the button for additional helpful tools including on-screen guidance when you're learning your way around. A cursor means you always know where you are on the screen even when the pen’s not touching it.

The mouse functionality allows you to 'double-click' for additional helpful tools with onscreen guidance. The Activpen is so accurate and precise, you can measure and mark on-screen to the millimeter or degree.

Teachers told us that they found touch-sensitive screens, (notably ones you use with your finger), could be temperamental. Children were encouraged to wipe their little hands on the "magic tissue", before they touched the whiteboard. For those who can't always reach the top of the board

Teachers told us that very small children couldn't always reach the top of the Activboard so Promethean developed the Activwand all 54cm of it. Little children or seated teachers can reach all parts of the board and has been designed with a handle comprising of a ‘click’ which acts like a mouse. It hovers, clicks and is incredibly precise, just like the Activpen.

The Activwand is not just a 'pointing' instrument, it roll-overs to reveal images and drop-down menus. It left-clicks, so operating software, flash-based content, webpages or multimedia is child's play.
